The present proprietors are the fourth generation of Masters, who not only mastered the Sea, but also the Arts. Their love for tradition and the sentimental bonds to the building forced them to restore it into its original form so as life for once more to emerge. The Cori Rigas Apartments’ building has been restored by master masons using local volcanic materials and the same techniques as their forefathers.
The lovely terraces and balconies of Cori Rigas is an ideal site to behold sweeping views to the caldera, the volcano, the glorious Aegean Sea and the famous breathtaking sunset. It is difficult to find words to express the miracle of this island, especially in the Caldera area.
