Iliovasilema Hotel Apartments feature an affecting appearance, its bright yellow, domed building luring numerous vacationers from all over the world. It is established in Imerovigli, one of the most beautiful villages of Santorini. Before your eyes the sea spreads out, scattered with islets, and there is the volcano too, and of course the dazzling sunset, which gave our hotel its name ("Iliovasilema" is the Greek word for "sunset"). And if you listen for a while, you will hear the sun burning out in the dark waters of the Aegean Sea.
Built 350m above sea level, the hotel offers to its guests the most fascinating view of the volcano and the little islands of the Aegean Sea, as well as of the dazzling sunset.
Iliovasilema was initially built in year 1996 but it has undergone renovations and remodeling in year 2002 and still grows, following always the rules and the tradition of the Cycladic architecture!
This picturesque settlement with only 300 inhabitants is made out of traditional white houses with terraces that overlook the volcano, narrow paved streets and churches in every corner. Close to the village there is also the old monastery of St. Nikolas with remarkable relics and interesting icons and the church of St. George built high on a cliff.
The traditional Cycladic style is more than obvious in our 18 units (studios, apartments and the honeymoon suite) of our hotel, which, though newly-built, seem to belong to another era. The volcano with the sunken caldera is always there to remind you the geological adventures of the island.

Room facilities
Iliovasilema" is an A class hotel. All rooms include Bath, Kitchen with Refrigerator and Utensils, Air-conditioning, Heating, Direct dial phone, TV satellite and Radio, a Safe-box and a Mini-bar.
Big apartments also include a living room, while a baby cot can be provided upon request. A balcony or a veranda is present in all rooms, offering an indescribable view to the yearning eyes.
Apartments offer the same facilities as the studios, but their extra space gives the opportunity for the accommodation of 3 or 4 people, depending on the visitor’s need.
Junior Suites offer a luxury environment, all the above-mentioned facilities as well as a fully equipped desk with fax.
Superior Suites offer more space as well as the chance for a relaxing bath in their interior Jacuzzi and CD player in order you to listen to your preferred music.
